Signs of Spring at Willowdale Estate
Every fall the Willowdale Team sets aside a day for planting all the bulbs that bloom in the spring and summer months around the property. The fruits of our labor are starting to pop up as we get closer to the beginning of tent season, which provides additional outdoor space for guests to enjoy the gardens, state park, and warm weather.
Surprisingly, the tent going up marks the beginning of our tent season, which allows guests to be outside but have protection from unpredictable weather. The tent can hold up to 240 guests with optional side panels, heating and cooling available, and a covered section that leads into the mansion. This outdoor seating faces the garden courtyard on one side and the forest on the other, providing a private and rustic atmosphere.
THE GARDEN COURTYARD
This is our primary spot for an outdoor ceremony. Surrounded by fieldstone and colorful, lush landscaping, the garden courtyard provides the perfect backdrop and seating area to say your vows. This is also a great spot for cocktail hour and bar setup or food stations for an event. During the summer we love to use this space for our outdoor BBQ & Blues event and our NEW Solstice Soireé event.

THE RED DOOR
Our iconic red door is a favorite spot for wedding photos. In the warmer months, the cul-de-sac garden by the front door is in bloom with tulips and daffodils, adding additional beauty to the front of the mansion.
THE LIVING WALL
Right outside our library doors is our pergola with a living wall. This vertical garden is another favorite spot for couples and groups to take their photos.
Located in Bradly Palmer State Park provides us the beauty of nature with the Ipswich River and footbridge in our own backyard. Couples love this location for formal shots and some even venture out on to the water!
