Recap: 7th Annual Halloween Gala
For our 7th Annual Halloween Gala we went a little mad and switched up the costume theme! This was The Year of Magic – Costumes in Color. We saw some pretty impressive and colorful costumes.
Our tent dance floor was packed thanks to the sounds of Hot Mess and the dance party continued into the Great Room thanks to DJ Petro! The décor lit up the evening with glow furniture from Party Excitement, up lighting from Gateway Productions and Mike’s Music and Entertainment, fabric draping and twinkle lights by Ryan Designs.
The Great Room, Conservatory, and Dining Room were transformed into a mad scientist’s laboratory- illuminated with green glow furniture by Party Excitement and blinding yellow linens from PEAK. The floral arrangements by Karla Cassidy Designs included green and yellow flowers in graduated cylinders, beakers, and Erlenmeyer flasks. Pouring into the Great Room were balloon installations by Fig Balloon Co. that made for an eye-popping experience.
One thing that will never change is upon arrival our guested are welcomed by tables of overflowing jars of candy. Guests filled baggies of their favorite treats and relive Halloweens gone by! Dessert continued with pumpkin skull cakes and chocolate donuts with galaxy frosting!
The evenings menu included passed appetizers like fried pickles, meatballs, perogies, beet salad and pretzels with honey mustard. Our mac and cheese station and slider station offered delicious comfort food. Another new addition was service of “late night snacks” of French fries and Churros in a “Champagne Skirt” by Elise Sipos!
We look forward to see what our team comes up with next year!
