Colorful Garden Wedding Inspiration
We couldn’t think of a better way to end Pride than having this floral-focused styled shoot of newlywed couple Allie and Emma getting published in Green Wedding Shoes! The use of colorful wildflowers throughout the bouquets, décor, accessories, and food creates a vibrant boho vibe.
“Along with the bright, flower-filled theme, this styled shoot is extra special because it features a real couple. Allie and Emma actually got married during the pandemic, but like so many other 2020 and 2021 couples, they had to modify their plans. ‘We wanted to offer a second day of fun and photos for our brides who may have had a smaller wedding than they planned, but now have twice the images that celebrate and honor their love,’ explains Rogers.” – GWS Blog
Set against our historic state’s garden courtyard, the ceremony space was filled with colorful florals lining the aisle and ceremony backdrop. Clear acrylic pedestals held the arrangements, creating a floating illusion and whimsical effect. Both brides had large, lush bouquets and they even incorporated the wildflowers into their earrings!
Layered rugs, velvet seating, and fun-patterned pillows created a cozy lounge in the reception space. The tablescape had vibrant centerpieces, citrus-filled place settings, and pressed flowers used for the table numbers and escort cards.
Finishing off this celebration is champagne and dessert. A yellow cake and colorful macarons topped off with wildflowers, perfectly ties into this shoots theme.
