Our Venue

Willowdale Estate is Boston’s most inspiring venue for hosting an unforgettable wedding or event. Weddings at Willowdale Estate include exclusive use of our beautiful, historic mansion, grounds, and tent (May-October), providing the perfect setting for your ceremony and reception. Our original 1902 fieldstone mansion sits within Bradley Palmer State Park, surrounded by 720 acres of woodlands, the Ipswich River, and our garden courtyard.

Willowdale Estate is open year-round offering options for outdoor tented events, and indoor weddings in our private mansion.

Tent Season

From May-October couples can enjoy full use of our 1902 Arts and Crafts-style Estate, our beautiful Garden Courtyard, and our custom Sperry Tent, which can accommodate between 140-240 guests.

The Garden Courtyard provides a bucolic setting for an outdoor ceremony. Guests love the historic character of our mansion for cocktail hour and dessert, and the Sperry Tent with natural sailcloth canopy and smooth concrete tent flooring is the perfect setting for dinner and dancing. A covered walkway connects our tent and the mansion, and floor-length clear side panels, and tent heaters are included for inclement weather.

Mansion Season

From November-April, you can host an intimate wedding of 80-125 guests with exclusive use of our historic Estate. Take in the beauty of French windows, detailed woodwork, oversized skylights, and cozy fireplaces. The Glass Conservatory is a striking backdrop for indoor ceremonies with wooded views. Guests are welcomed into the North Wing for Cocktail Hour, and return to the Great Room, and Conservatory for dinner and dancing. A dance floor is included in the Great Room, and dessert is served in the Dining Room. Seasonal decorations are included throughout the Estate for the month of December.
